Core Galore: Here, I take you through 30 minutes of cardio drills and abdominal exercises, guaranteed to make you sweat! Equipment needed: An exercise ball, light dumbbells (optional), and a mat to lay on. $10
Boot Camp and Cardio Interval: Two 30 minutes workouts on one DVD. For Boot Camp, I focus on strength training and sculpting while Cardio Interval gets the heart pounding and the lungs working! Equipment needed: One or two pairs of moderate weight dumbbells for Boot Camp; light dumbbells optional for Cardio Interval. Though not required, I use a step bench in both videos for added intensity. $17
The workouts I have recorded closely mimic what I teach to my group class students- we use weights to build muscle and the step bench to get the heart rate up. Cardio and strength-training together- what could be more fun? I show modified exercises for beginners and more advanced options for the conditioned. I refer to my DVDs as “Reality Exercise”. There are no pauses for makeup touch-ups, no spray-on sweat, I do not have a bronze tan, I am not grinning ear to ear throughout the recording. I am going through the entire workout with you in one blast. I sweat profusely, I breathe hard, my hair gets messy. I find that when I give the workout my all while teaching class, my students do the same- and so I hope it will be with you and these DVD workouts.
